ICA conference 2023: Top Student Paper Award to Maria Rogg


The paper “Twists of biometric existence: Biohacking as humane enhancement” by Maria Rogg will be awarded with the Philosophy, Theory and Critique division’s Top Student Paper Award at the International Communication Association (ICA) conference 2023.

The text discusses existential practices of biohacking as a technique to rethink biometrics and ethics through queerness and craft co-existential imaginaries.

ICA conference 2023 will be held in Toronto, Canada, 25-29 May 2023.
