Winter Conferment Ceremony – Henry Jenkins honorary doctor

Professor Henry Jenkins has been appointed honorary doctor at Uppsala University. The new honorary doctorates at Uppsala University were conferred at the Winter Conferment Ceremony of 26 January 2018.

Annika Waern, Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Informatics and Media, was the Faculty of Social Sciences conferrer at the ceremony. Nico Carpentier, Professor in Media and Communication Studies at the Department of Informatics and Media, was Henry Jenkins's promotor.
